As a member of the International Bodyguard Association (IBA) I acknowledge that it is my personal responsibility to further the professional development of myself and other men or women who serve in the protection industry.

나는 IBA 회원으로서 자신과, 보디가드 직업에 종사하는 남녀의 전문성 개발 증진이 자신의 임무임을 인지한다.

I will always exhibit the highest level of integrity in the performance of my professional duties and will do my best to see that my responsibilities are carried out with professional competence.

나는 성실히 자신의 책임을 수행하고 직업적 경쟁력을 가지고 최선을 다하여 책임을 다한다.

I will not engage in any unethical or illegal conduct, or in any activity that could jeopardise my responsibilities. I undertake to refrain from using narcotic or intoxicating substances that might hinder my judgment and my ability to perform my duties to the fullest of my abilities.
나는 비윤리적 행위, 불법 행위 또는 자신의 책임을 위태롭게 하는 어떠한 행위에 가담하지 않을 것이며 자신의 판단력과 최상의 업무 수행능력을 저해하는 마약 혹은 흥분제 사용을 하지 않는다.

I will always keep an open mind and commit myself to the pursuit of knowledge and information for the purpose of discovering new methods and systems.
나는 항상 개방적이고 새로운 방법과 시스템을 찾기 위해 지식과 정보를 습득할 것이다

I will always be honest when dealing with my principals, fellow bodyguards, IBA members and officer, business associates and all others, and I will uphold the standards established by our founder, Lucien Victor Ott.
나의 주체인들, 동료 경호원, 협회 구성원 및 관리자, 비즈니스 파트너 에게 정직하게 대처할 것이며 창업자 Lucien-Victor Ott가 제정한 기준을 지킬 것이다.

I acknowledge that a great deal of trust and responsibility has been given to me and I know that I must dedicate myself in the furtherance of the bodyguard profession and those whom I am sworn to protect.
나는 자신에게 막중한 신뢰와 책임이 주어졌음을 인지하며 경호원 업무의 증진과 자신이 보호해야 할 사람을 위해 헌신 하여야 함을 인지한다.

I will always acknowledge the fact that I am a member of a truly unique international organisation and I will not hold any animosity towards another IBA member based solely on ethnic origin (Nationality or skin Color), gender or religious persuasion (Creed).
나는 뛰어난 국제 조직의 회원임을 명심하여 타 회원의 성별, 인종 혹은 출신 국가에 따라 적개심을 갖지 않을 것이며 이러한 이유로 차별하는 행동을 하지 않을 것이다.

I will truthful in representing myself to my principals, potential employers and fellow members of IBA. Further I will not misrepresent my Capabilities, or myself.

나는 주체인, 클라이언트 및 전세계 IBA파트너, 동료 회원들에게 진실되게 대할 것이며 자신 혹은 자신의 능력에 대하여 거짓으로 전하지 않을 것이다.

I will not misrepresent myself as an Instructor or any other of the IBA nor will I teach bodyguard skills to any person as such until I have received written permission of the Director General of the IBA.

나는 IBA 총재로부터 서명 허가를 받아 자격을 갖추기 전까지 경호 기술을 타인에게 전수하지 않을 것이다.

Lastly, I will commit myself to attaining excellence in all areas of the bodyguard profession.

마지막으로, 나는 모든 경호업무 영역에서 최상을 이루기 위해 헌신할 것이다.
