IBA COURSE SYLLABUS 

The International Bodyguard Skills course equips individuals to work as part of a Bodyguard Team or provide 1-on-1 protection to a principal. The course is comprehensive and is an entry point for full membership of the prestigious International Bodyguard Association (I.B.A). The course will be taught by the Director General of the I.B.A, the organisation’s chief technical officer.

IBA Diploma will be issued on completion of the course. This course will also comply as point of entry for full membership of the International Bodyguard Association. Trainees will receive gratis 1 year IBA Full Membership, the IBA Red lapel pin and IBA International Badge with unique number in leather wallet.

About IBA

The International Bodyguard Association was established in 1957 by Major Lucien Ott a French Special Forces veteran. Major Ott went on to establish the elite ‘Les Gorilles’ bodyguard team of President De Gaulle. The IBA has trained bodyguards for the US Army Special Forces, Iraqi Police, Afghan Ministry of Defence, British Government Cabinet Security, Thai Police, Thai Naval SEALs and Thai Army Special Forces, Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakh Special Forces, European Union and the United Nations.
